The City

The world has its limits, you can measure them or not.

There are boundaries in different ways, so there is no entire freedom.

You have to share or fight to find your own way.

What we see now with our eyes is nature, lighting. Our surrounding is the universe.

The box is similar as time, history and human nature. In this frame work, we live in.

It can be prison, but it's also what we can do.

In the inner box are our possibilities.

* Created for the final project of 2017 Bauhaus Summer School Lighting Design Course.

The main goal of this project was to play the different materials in soft and hard mediums with simulated daylight, which represented the types of boundaries.  I simplified the city into the inner cubes to show the contrasts between diffusion and harsh metals. The City showed that we can always find our way to live and breath in the limits.
