The Room was written by Harold Pinter in his typical style. My first impression of this play was a large balloon getting bigger without control. The room was lit as a warm space, however it was sludgy, dense and heavy. The concept of lighting design was changing the light from natural bright to unreal gloomy green in whole passing time, which represented the inner world of the main character, Rose, was dug out by the disturbance of unexpected visitors.
